Well, it was about time. This weekend, Little Miss Lauren met none other than the original Little Miss Lauren (although I'm sure Lauren the first probably isn't too keen on being called that). We had a lot of fun and Lauren F. looks forward to spending some more quality time with Lauren B. in the near future!

Lauren participated in her first Mary Kay party on Tuesday. She hung out with Daddy most of the time, but did make an appearance.

Baby Shower Part II

Baby Shower!

Here are some pictures of the set-up from our shower that Jen had for us on Saturday. It was so totally well thought out and personal. It was beautiful and so much fun! Thanks Auntie Jen for making us feel so special! Lauren got lots of really cool gifts: Baby Gap gear, fun, mon-keys, clothes, a snowsuit, a Bumbo seat, a high chair, bowls, a blanket... so much cool stuff!!!!!

Happy Bather!

So we finally figured out why Lauren hates baths... it's the dumb hammock that is in the bathtub! We took that out (because it was a casualty of a poop disaster) and then all of a sudden, Miss Lauren loves the bath! Thank goodness! Here are some pics of our happy clean girl!

Having some problems...

Sorry that there aren't any new pictures of Lauren here. Something is going on with the picture uploading on this site and I haven't been able to put up pictures for the past two days. As soon as it gets fixed, I have a bunch of new pictures for everyone. Lauren is doing well. She had a big weekend this past weekend. She participated in Naperville's Walk to Remember and went to a baby shower that Auntie Jen had for us on Saturday and on Sunday she went to WaumbaLand (Sunday School) for the first time and also slept in her crib for the first time without Grandma Lori being here! She's growing up so fast! We'll post some pictures soon. Hope everyone is well. We love you!

Sorry for the lack of posts this week. I started back to work and things have been a bit crazy. Lauren's having tummy troubles, too, making things even busier. I promise to try to post some new pictures this weekend. Hope everyone is doing well. We love you all.

Lauren got to hang out with her "peeps" this weekend. We spent the night with "Gigi", Lauren's great-grandma Lois, and we also stayed with her Grandma Lori. BIG, BIG, BIG thanks to Grandma Lori for staying up all night with Lauren so that Mommy and Daddy could get their first full nights sleep in six weeks! Because of that they weren't so crabby when we went on the scenic drive! On Saturday, we also went over to visit the McKennas for whom Lauren gets her middle name from. We got to see Grandma Patsy and Grandpa Richard, but Grandma Patsy wasn't feeling well, so we weren't able to get too close. Lauren can't wait to see her again to get some good lovin' and hear some of Grandma's singing! She did get to hang out with Grandpa at the fairgrounds, though, but I forgot to take a picture! Here are some pics of Lauren sharin' the love!

Lauren's first trip to El Ranch!!!

This weekend, Lauren experienced something huge! On Saturday, she had her first trip to El Rancherito! (Unfortunately for her, but good for us) she slept the whole time. :) Had to document it with a picture!

Lauren's tummy was not so good again today, so she fussed and rested for most of the day, but had some time to play with Daddy on her activity gym before bed. She's gearing up for another trip out of town tomorrow, so we'll have some pictures to post of that when we get back!

Some days are just kinda blah...

Lauren had kind of a rough day today... she had an upset tummy and had trouble sleeping. Here are a couple of pics from the day, though. (The one of her awake is her with the mohawk her daddy gave her while she was hanging out with him.) :)

GRANDPARENTS DAY!

Lauren had a great day today. Grandma and Grandpa came all the way up to Ottawa to see her and visit for the afternoon. We ate at Cracker Barrel and hung out for a while and then went over to McDonald's for ice cream. Lauren had a great time and cried on the way home because she was already missing her grandma and grandpa!!!! Pardon Grandma... she's a little camera shy and wasn't in the mood to pose at Cracker Barrel! :)
